job consists to guide people around mountains and get

of Employment: Seasonal – 2 months: From Mid January

Gudauri, Georgia (near Tbilisi, Capital of Georgia)

English. Specific Skills: Excellent skiing ability,
Escort groups on outdoor sport and recreational trips,

least 21 years of age and in good health, outgoing and
enthusiastic, strong leadership and conflict resolution
skills, patience especially when dealing with
inexperienced or troublesome clients, ability to handle

Mountain
Madness - Mountain Madness hires guides proficient in all
mediums of mountaineering. We require professionalism and strict
adherence to our guidelines in relation to safety, client care, and
permit requirements set forth by the federal government. In addition
to technical expertise, the personality of the candidate and their
ability to teach and communicate with the client will have an
essential role in the selection process. Mountain Madness has two
levels of responsibility for field staff: assistant guide and lead
guide. Typically, an individual will work over 140 guiding days
before being considered as a lead guide. As an assistant guide one
must have continued good client evaluation and have flawless
recommendations from lead guides before being considered for
promotion to lead guide. In addition to the above, a lead or
assistant guide must have Wilderness First Responder, or equivalent
and needs previous experience or training as a lead guide on the
terrain on which they would be operating. After demonstrating
competence, judgment, safety awareness, in addition to the
conditions laid out, he/she will then be considered for promotion to
the next level. This process assures highly competent, skilled and
experienced field staff at all levels.

at IMG Headquarters in Ashford. Responsibilities include staffing
the rental and retail shops, packing food and gear for Rainier
climbs, gear repair and general HQ maintenance and upkeep.

Guest Ranch - The Ranch is located in the
lower end of the Gros Ventre Mountains about a mile up from the
Green River with views of the rugged peaks of the Wind River Range
and the Bridger Wilderness Area. This Historic Ranch sits at 8,000
feet in elevation in beautiful alpine meadows where the Aspen and
the Pines come together. We are bordered on two sides by the
country’s oldest and largest national forest, the Bridger-Teton.
Activities at the ranch are very diverse with everything from river
float fishing trips, Pack Trips into the Wilderness, Winter
Snowmobiling, Hunting... We are looking for seasonal staff to work
as cooks, housekeepers, and wilderness guides. Also, For about 20
years now we have been running an intensive 4 week Outfitter and
Guide school where we teach the outdoor skills needed to become a
top quality wilderness guide. We also have some full-time,

Alaska
Crossings -
Guides are responsible for all things
inherent in providing a safe, fun experience for our 13-18 year old
clients. We trip in the Tongass National Forest and up the Stikine
and Iskut rivers in British Columbia, Canada. Qualifications vary
for each of our guide levels (1-4). Successful applicants will do
their first program as a level 1 guide regardless of their skills
and experience. Alaska Crossings is a 46-day wilderness treatment program for youth with
mental health illness. Each group is comprised of 3 staff and up to
9 participants. Our program is expedition based and each group
completes an ocean canoeing trip, a hiking/mountaineering trip and a
